Colossians 3:12-17
Compassion, Forgiveness, and Love
The New Life of the Community · Colossians 3
Story guide: God’s beloved people are to clothe themselves with compassion, humility, patience, and forgiveness. Love binds them together as Christ’s peace rules their hearts and his word shapes their teaching, songs, gratitude, and daily actions.

13bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if anyone has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord also forgave you, so also you must do.
14And above all these, put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15And let the peace of Messiah rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
16Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.
17And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
